If you HAVE already installed SubmitEaze on your computer simply restart SubmitEaze and you will be prompted to download the update automatically.

Turbo Submission Mode

Version 8 has one major new feature, and that is 'Turbo Submitter'. Turbo Submitter works differently to the previous version of SubmitEaze, and rather than visiting the submission form in a web browser, Turbo Submitter employs a browser-less interface, and instead displays the submission form as part of the graphical user interface, as you can see in the screenshot below:

This makes directory submissions incredibly quick and easy - in fact, it's so easy a child could do it. To see this nifty new addition in action, please see our video demo. It is still possible to submit using the browser-based submission process by switching between modes by using the "Mode Selection" drop-down box in the top-left corner.

More Directories

We have added an incredible 2,000 new, free directories to our lists, bringing the total to over 2,400 free directories. No that's not a typo - we've actually added that many! In total, SubmitEaze now lists over 4,400 directories. We believe that SubmitEaze has the most comprehensive, up-to-date directory list available anywhere on the Internet - and we intend to keep it that way!

Improved Proxy Server Support

We made proxy server configuration easier by adding a "Proxy Server Settings" tab to the Project Settings window - here you can enter the details of your proxy server (if you use one) so that SubmitEaze can connect to the Internet. SubmitEaze will also attempt to automatically obtain your proxy server settings, so you may not need to provide any additional settings unless you are prompted to.

Improved Search Functionality

We've enhanced the search feature in SubmitEaze, and added an option to "Exclude if it has any of these custom tags".

So what's special about that? Well, lets assume you don't want to display certain directories in your directory lists, for example because they don't list your particular website category, to do this you create a tag called 'Remove' (for example), and you then tag any directories you don't want to be displayed in your list. You then create a search, and select to use the new "Exclude if it has any of these custom tags" search option, select your 'Remove' tag, and voila! Your directory lists no longer display the directories you've tagged!
